Tyler Larsen

School: Utah State
Position: C
Positive: Four-year starter at center awarded all-conference honors since his freshman season. Tough, intelligent blocker on the pivot with marginal physical skills. Blocks with lean, stays square, and is explosive at the point. Consistently gets leverage on opponents. Keeps his head on a swivel, effectively quarterbacks the offensive line, and works well with teammates. Fluid and quick if asked to pull across the line of scrimmage, then get out front to block in motion. Terrific with the shotgun snap.
Negative: Not dominant in the middle of the line. Looks and plays like a marginal athlete. Has short arms and struggles finishing blocks.
Analysis: Larsen is a lineman who got the most from his ability on the college level but may struggle to be anything other than a backup in the NFL.
