Matt Paradis

School: Boise State
Position: C
Positive: Former defensive lineman who moved to center as a sophomore then started the next three seasons. Smart, efficient blocker on the pivot with limited size and strength. Fires off the snap, moves well on his feet, and quickly gets to the second level, taking linebackers from the action. Keeps his feet moving, stays square, and is a solid position blocker who seals defenders from the play. Plays with good knee bend and fights throughout the action. Quick throughout his game.
Negative: Lacks a dominant base and overall strength at the point. Does not get much movement in run blocking. Can be overrun in the middle of the line.
Analysis: Paradis was a dependable center for Boise State and offers possibilities as a backup at the next level in a zone-blocking scheme.
