Corey Linsley

School: Ohio State
Position: C
Positive: Two-year starter who began his Ohio State career backing up at guard and tackle. Efficient center with no outstanding physical characteristics. Plays heads-up football, stays square, and works well with teammates. Displays good awareness and a nice feel for the center position. Keeps his feet and hands active throughout the play and works hard. Fires into blocks and displays good initial strength at the point of attack.
Negative: Gets tall blocking and struggles finishing blocks. Lacks footwork in space. Marginally effective in motion.
Analysis: Linsley is not a great athlete but rather a very good football player who uses all his assets to their maximum. He's a smart blocker on the pivot who understands the game and could be a valued backup at the next level.
