Justin Hunter

School: Tennessee
Position: WR
Bio: Started 12 games last season and was awarded all-Conference honors after posting 73 receptions/1083 yards/9 TDs. Sophomore totals included 17/314/2 when he started the first three games of the year before suffering a season-ending injury to his left knee.
Positive: Explosive big-play receiver with an inconsistent game. Physically gifted, easily outruns efenders down the field, and plays with a smooth style. Gets vertical, fights to make the deep reception, and plays with terrific balance. Works his hands to separate from opponents. Offers the quarterback a target and comes back to the pass out of breaks. Displays strong hands and the ability to pluck the ball from the air. Wins out in battles then keeps the play in bounds working to pick up positive yardage.
Negative: Lazy off the line, runs poor routes, and often off-balance. Drops too many catchable throws during untimely moments of the game. Doesn E(TM)t stay focused.
Analysis: Hunter is a physical specimen with the potential to line up as a number one receiver in the NFL. He makes a lot of mental mistakes and his drops cost Tennessee at times last season. He's a great athlete who must become more proficient and consistent as a receiver.
