David Crawford

School: Wagner
Position: WR
Bio: Three-year starter who led Wagner in receiving as a senior with 37 receptions/483 yards/2 TDs. Sidelined with a shoulder injury three games into a 2011 season. Junior totals of 2010 included 35 receptions and 629 receiving yards.
Positive: Nice-sized possession receiver who flashed skill the past four years. Quickly releases off the line into pass routes, effectively uses his hands to separate from opponents, and sells routes. Shields defenders away with his frame, plays heads-up football, and competes to make receptions. Nicely adjusts to errant throws and looks the ball into his hands.
Negative: One-speed receiver. Gives average effort blocking. Minimally productive in college.
Analysis: Crawford possesses the physical skills to be a fifth receiver on an NFL roster yet must elevate every aspect of his game to have any shot at a pro-career.
