Tucker Stafford

School: Georgetown
Position: TE
Bio: Former quarterback who moved to tight end as a sophomore, then started the next three seasons. Senior totals included 13 receptions/150 yards after 10/103/1 as a junior.
Positive: Large, strong tight end who is best as a blocker. Quickly gets off the snap, blocks with good lean, and stays square. Jolts defenders with good hand punch, plays with a nasty attitude, and works to finish blocks. Fundamentally sound in all areas of the game. Fluid releasing off the line scrimmage, sells pass routes, and makes difficult catches in a crowd.
Negative: One-speed tight end and not a downfield threat. Stiff athlete, which hurts his ability to finish blocks.
Analysis: Stafford is a hard-working player with limited upside yet his blocking could help him catch on as a third tight end.
