Philip Lutzenkirchen

School: Auburn
Position: TE
Bio: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors after his junior season. Struggled with injury as a senior, playing just six games and finishing the year with 15 receptions for 139 yards. Junior totals included 24/238/7.
Positive: High-effort college tight end with minimal upside for the next level. Effective receiver who nicely makes receptions in stride and snatches passes away from his frame. Displays good field vision and uses his frame to shield away defenders. Works hard until the whistle blows. Blocks with solid fundamentals and quickly gets off the snap.
Negative: Lacks functional football strength and struggles to control opponents. Slow and not a downfield threat as a receiver.
Analysis: When healthy Lutzenkirchen was a consistent player for Auburn but lacks the measurables to be anything other than a third tight end in the NFL.
