Nick Kasa

School: Colorado
Position: TE
Bio: Former defensive lineman who moved to tight end as a junior then started every game last season. Totals included 25 receptions/391 yards/3 TDs.
Positive: Large, athletic prospect with tremendous upside potential. Strong blocker who stays square, keeps the defender in front of him, and turns opponents off the line. Gives effort as a blocker and controls opponents at the point of attack. Runs solid routes, quickly gets into breaks then stays low on exit. Helps out on special teams.
Negative: Does not stretch the field despite his forty time. Not a natural knee bender. Displays inconsistent hands.
Analysis: Kasa is a physical specimen who really developed his game after being moved to the tight end position. He E(TM)s skilled as a blocker and pass catcher and has the potential to develop into a starter if he completes his game.
