Justin Pugh

School: Syracuse
Position: T
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore season. Missed the first four games of his senior campaign with a shoulder injury. Lined up at left tackle for Syracuse.
Positive: Quick and athletic prospect who projects to either guard or tackle. Moves well on his feet and can hit a moving target or pick up the blitz. Solid pass protector who stays square. Keeps his feet moving, gets his hands into defenders, and rides them from their angle of attack. Makes good use of blocking angles and seals defenders from the action.
Negative: Gets minimal movement run blocking and struggles to finish blocks. Lacks great footwork on the blindside.
Analysis: Pugh has drawn mixed reviews from NFL scouts. At the top of his game, he can be a very good zone-blocking guard or tackle, but Pugh must improve his playing strength to earn a starting job in the NFL.
