Kemel Ishmeal

School: Central Florida
Position: S
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference honors after his sophomore and senior seasons. Named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in 2012. Senior totals included 124 tackles/3 interceptions/1 pass break-ups after 81 tackles as a junior and 93 as a sophomore.
Positive: Active and productive safety with poor size/speed numbers. Quick up the field defending the run. Sudden athlete who flashes on the scene. Has a burst to the ball and a hard-hitting style.
Negative: Does not display top lateral speed and struggles getting outside the numbers in coverage. Possesses average ball skills.
Analysis: Ishmael was consistently productive at Central Florida and plays aggressive football. He could land as a backup in a zone system, but must stand out on special teams this summer to make a roster.
