Jordan Dangerfield

School: Towson
Position: S
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-America and all-Conference honors the past two seasons. Senior totals included 69 tackles and six pass breakups. Lead Towson with 93 tackles as a junior when he also intercepted two passes.
Positive: Super productive college defensive back with limited potential for the next level. Breaks down well, gives effort defending the run, and aggressively goes after ball carriers. Flashes athleticism and the ability to get outside the numbers to make plays in coverage. Effectively tracks the ball in the air.
Negative: Lacks a quick, fluid change of direction and is more of a straight-line defender. Hesitant and slow when transitioning to run with opponents down the field.
Analysis: Dangerfield was a productive run defender in college yet lacks the size, speed, and ball skills to be anything other than a dime back at the next level. He must make his mark on special teams to find a spot on an NFL roster.
