Washaun Ealey

School: Jacksonville State
Position: RB
Bio: Senior totals included 179 carries/727 yards/10 TDs on the ground as well as 21 receptions/26 yards/3 TDs as a pass catcher. Used in a rotational system as a senior. All-Conference selection in 2011 after rushing totals of 178/1082/8. Began his college career Georgia and combined for 1528 yards and 14 touchdowns his two seasons in the program.
Positive: Well-sized ballcarrier best running between the tackles. Finds the small creases of the defense and has a burst through the hole. Runs with an aggressive style, isn E(TM)t afraid of contact, and drives his shoulders through defenders, falling forward when tackled. Effectively uses blocks, displays short area quickness, and sidesteps defenders or gets around the pile. Smooth runner.
Negative: Lacks the speed and agility to turn the corner. Not an elusive ballcarrier who makes something out of nothing.
Analysis: Ealey has been a productive four-year player on the college level and offers the size and skill to make an NFL roster as a backup running back.
