Bio: Four-year starter named to several all-America teams after his sophomore and junior campaigns as well as being named an all-Conference selection since his freshman season. Averaged 46.3 yards on 44 punts as a senior with a long of 74 yards. Career best punt was 78 yards. Completed 82.4% of his field goals as a senior. Career long field goal of 51 yards came during his senior season.
Positive: Big-legged kicker with the versatility to punt and kick. Quickly gets the ball off his foot, can drive punts for long-distances, and has a tremendous kickoff leg. Consistently places his punts inside the 5-yard line. Drives his kickoffs into the opposing end zone from the college mark. Never had a punt blocked in college.
Negative: Doesn't consistently get great hang time on punts.
Analysis: Sharp was an outstanding punter on the college level and offers the leg strength and versatility to be used in several capacities on the NFL level.
