Josh Lynn

School: Furman
Position: OLB
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore season. Senior totals included 36 tackles/7 tackles for loss/3 sacks after 49/11/5 the prior year.
Positive: Undersized but hard-working defensive end who projects to outside linebacker at the next level. Plays with good lean and pad level. Easily moves about the field and effectively uses his hands to protect himself. Displays a solid inside move, wedges between blocks, and keeps his feet moving on contact. Can bend off the edge. Easily changes direction and immediately alters his angle of attack. Slides off blocks laterally and shows skill in pursuit.
Negative: Lacks bulk and was too often handled at the point by a single opponent. Average production on the college level.
Analysis: Lynn was a dependable college defender who consistently found a way to get into the opponent's backfield and disrupt the action. He lacks classic size/speed numbers but offers potential as a situational pass rusher/special teams player in the NFL.
