Positive: Athletic linebacker who flashed skill the past two seasons yet struggled to show a complete game. Smooth moving about the field. Easily gets outside the box or down the line to make plays. Fast in every direction, displays good sideline-to-sideline range, and covers a lot of area. Breaks down well, keeps his feet and hands active throughout the action and easily changes direction. Shows a burst to the play, which he can turn on in a single step.
Negative: Inefficient and occasionally over pursues the play. Late reacting and marginally instinctive.
Analysis: Sabino had an inconsistent career at Ohio State, yet offers the physical skills to play at the next level. He must polish his game and learn to do the little things well but is worth stashing on a practice squad for future development.
