Patrick Omameh

School: Michigan
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter at right guard for Michigan.
Positive: Explosive and instinctive lineman who blocks well in motion. Quick off the snap and moves well on his feet. Can redirect or adjust to defenders in motion, jolts opponents at the point of attack, and fights hard throughout the play. Blocks with good lean and anchors in pass protection. Stays square and seals defenders from the action.
Negative: Leans on opponents too much and must do a better job correctly placing his hands into defenders. Struggles to finish blocks.
Analysis: Omameh has been a consistent lineman and flashed a lot of skill early in his Michigan career. He has decent size and offers possibilities as an inexpensive utility blocker.
