Josh Jenkins

School: West Virginia
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a junior in 2010. Missed the 2011 season with a knee injury.
Positive: Small-area blocker with marginal upside for the next level. Works to play with leverage and fights with his hands throughout the action. Explosive at the point of attack. Quickly gets into blocks. Turns defenders from the action. Attacks assignments and works until the whistle blows.
Negative: Possesses average size and marginally effective blocking in motion. Beaten by quick, speedy defenders.
Analysis: Jenkins was a solid college blocker but lacks the strength to line up in a power running game and the movement skills to be used as a zone blocker. He's a high-effort player who could find a roster spot as an inexpensive backup.
