Jonathan Rush

School: Oklahoma State
Position: G
Bio: Started the first eight games of 2012 before being regulated to reserve duty. Full-time starter as a junior in 2010. Missed 2009 and 2011 seasons because of injuries.
Positive: Powerful interior blocker with an inconsistent game. Plays with good pad level, quickly gets into blocks, and shows strength at the point of attack. Turns opponents off the line scrimmage then seals them from the action. Stays square and anchors in pass protection.
Negative: Ineffective blocking in motion and is stiff. Must do a better job consistently placing his hands into opponents.
Analysis: Rush was a highly rated lineman coming off his 2010 junior season, yet has struggled with injuries and pedestrian play since. He possesses the size and strength to backup at the next level, yet must quickly elevate his game to make an NFL roster.
