Jason Weaver

School: Southern Mississippi
Position: G
Bio: Full-time starter the past two seasons. Started the first three games of his sophomore campaign before being sidelined with a knee injury. Lined up at both left and right tackle for Southern Mississippi.
Positive: Versatile college tackle who projects to guard in the NFL. Strong, quickly sets up in pass protection, and anchors at the point of attack. Displays the ability to adjust to defenders and seals opponents from the action. Works his hands throughout the play, blocks with good lean, and shows agility.
Negative: Lacks top footwork for a left tackle. Does not finish blocks.
Analysis: Weaver is a solid lineman who has shown ability in all areas of his game. He projects as an eighth offensive lineman at the next level and could have a long NFL career if he improves upon the smaller details of his position.
