David Quessenberry

School: San Jose State
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter at left tackle awarded all-Conference honors the past two years.
Positive: Fundamentally sound and relatively quick college tackle who will get consideration at guard in the NFL. Outstanding pass protector who stays square, displays footwork off the edge, and controls defenders at the point of attack. Keeps his hands active and works to bend his knees. Makes good use of blocking angles and works until the whistle blows.
Negative: Average run blocker who does not get much movement at the point of attack. Possesses a tall, thin build and may not have the strength to stay at tackle.
Analysis: Quessenberry is a fundamentally sound lineman with next-level skill. He needs to improve his playing strength but could develop into an NFL starter two years down the road.
