David Bakhtiari

School: Colorado
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore season.
Positive: Athletic and agile college left tackle who will receive consideration at the guard position in the NFL. Quickly gets into blocks and moves relatively well. Stays with the action, explosive at the point, and blocks with a nasty attitude. Works to play with good pad level. Keeps his feet moving and displays skill sliding out in pass protection or blocking in motion. Uses his hands well, seals defenders from the play, and rides opponents from their angle of attack.
Negative: Lacks great strength at the point of attack and struggles finishing blocks. Does not possess the height for the tackle position.
Analysis: Bakhtiari was consistent and durable at Colorado and is an athletic lineman who shows ability blocking in motion. He projects well as a guard in a zone-blocking system and can slide over to tackle if necessary.
