Chris Barker

School: Nevada
Position: G
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all-Conference honors since his sophomore season.
Positive: Athletic zone-blocking prospect with upside. Moves well on his feet. Easily pulls across the line of scrimmage and redirects to defenders. Stays square, keeps his head on a swivel, and easily slides in space on passing downs. Flexible and adjusts to pick up oncoming blitzers, sealing opponents from the action.
Negative: Lacks a killer instinct and does not play with a sense of urgency. Must improve his playing balance. Gets lazy with his fundamentals. Late getting his hands into defenders and seems confused at times.
Analysis: Barker possesses next-level size and movement skills. He could develop into a starter for a zone-blocking offense if he picks up the intensity and consistently plays at a high level.
