Aaron Adams

School: Eastern Kentucky
Position: G
Bio: Two-year starter at right tackle awarded all-America and all-Conference honors as a senior.
Positive: Strong, small-area position blocker with nice size. Effective with his hands, stays square, and makes good use of angles and body positioning. Sets with a wide base, works to bend his knees, and keeps his feet moving throughout the play. Quickly sets up in pass protection, extends his hands into opponents, and anchors at the point of attack. Displays good awareness picking up stunts or blitzes.
Negative: Lacks footwork sliding out off the edge. Heavy footed and marginal skills blocking in motion. Lacks the size and bulk to stay at tackle in the NFL.
Analysis: Adams was a consistent college lineman who showed big improvement the past two seasons. He plays smart football and offers potential as an inexpensive backup for several offensive line positions.
