William Campbell

School: Michigan
Position: DT
Bio: Moved into the starting lineup as a senior and totaled 44 tackles/1.5 tackles for loss/1 sack after 14/2.5/2 as a junior when he appeared as a reserve in all 13 games.
Positive: Large, quick, and powerful defensive tackle who's now beginning to hit his stride. Plays with good lean, flashes athleticism, and collapses down the line of scrimmage to chase the action. Explosive, strong, and tough to handle on the inside. Powerful and bull rushes opponents off the line to collapse the pocket. Tough to knock off the point and holds his ground.
Negative: Must learn to use his hands better. Slow shedding blocks once engaged at the point. Does not always play with a high motor.
Analysis: Campbell looks the part of an NFL lineman and started to play to his level of ability in 2012. He offers the size and skill to be used at defensive tackle or as a two-gap end. Campbell has a large upside but must play hard on every down and polish his game to have a career in the NFL.
