Nigel Nicholas

School: Oklahoma State
Position: DT
Bio: Started five games as a senior, finishing the season with 28 tackles/5 tackles for loss/4 sacks. Junior totals included 35/13/2.
Positive: Explosive lineman with poor size and speed for the next level. Fires off the snap, breaks down well, and effectively uses his hands to protect himself. Displays good movement skills, easily changes direction, and covers a nice amount of area on the field. Flashes power in his lower body and strong at the point of attack. Plays with quickness and fights until the whistle blows.
Negative: Undersized, struggles getting off blocks and can be controlled at the point by a single opponent. Not a consistent starter as a senior and turned in marginal production.
Analysis: Nicholas was a solid college defensive linemen yet may struggle to find a position in the NFL. His combination of quickness and movement skills could help him find a spot as a three-technique tackle.
