Kaleb Ramsey

School: Boston College
Position: DT
Bio: Played in two games as a senior before suffering a season-ending foot injury, finishing the year with four tackles. Struggled with a back injury in 2011 again playing in just two games. Posted 39 tackles/7.5 tackles for loss/2.5 sacks in 2010.
Positive: One-time highly rated defensive lineman whose career has been halted by injury. Explosive, quick off the snap and plays with good pad level. Displays good movement skills and easily gets down the line scrimmage or outside the flanks chasing plays.
Negative: Lacks bulk and easily blocked at the point or caught up in the trash. Injuries the past two seasons make him undraftable.
Analysis: Ramsey was well thought of in NFL scouting circles after the 2010 season but injuries the past two years may prevent him from having a career at the next level. At the top of his game, he projects as a solid three-technique tackle prospect.
