Glenn Foster

School: Illinois
Position: DT
Bio: Two-year starter who finished with 31 tackles/5.5 tackles for loss/2.5 sacks as a senior after 32/4/.5 the prior year.
Positive: Undersized but explosive defensive lineman with good movement skills. Plays with good pad level, fires off the snap with a terrific first step, and keeps his feet moving on contact. Wedges inside of blockers to get behind the line scrimmage. Easily chases the action laterally to the flanks. Hustles down the line to make plays and possesses a closing burst.
Negative: Can be controlled at the point of attack by a single blocker. Marginally productive in college.
Analysis: Foster is a first-step lineman with the quickness and movement skills necessary to get consideration as a 3-technique tackle in the NFL.
