Anthony McCloud

School: Florida State
Position: DT
Bio: Junior-college transfer who started much of the three seasons he played at Florida State. Senior totals included 24 tackles/one tackle for loss/1 sack after 25/5/2 as a junior. Sophomore totals included a career-best 35 tackles.
Positive: Gap-occupying lineman who plays with terrific pad level. Bends his knees, gets leverage on opponents, and works his hands throughout the action. Keeps his feet moving on contact, explosive, and easily holds his ground.
Negative: Struggles getting off blocks once engaged at the point of attack. Possesses just a small burst of speed. Marginally productive and better off occupying blockers versus making plays on the ball.
Analysis: McCloud is a limited athlete yet a wide-bodied lineman who can lineup at the next level as a traditional to defensive tackle.
