Andrew Seumalo

School: Oregon State
Position: DT
Bio: Two-year starter who finished the season with 36 tackles/4.5 tackles for loss/3 sacks after 34/4.5/2.5 the prior year.
Positive: Hard-working college player with limited athleticism and upside for the next level. Plays with good pad level. Moves well laterally and is fluid getting down the line of scrimmage or outside the box in pursuit of the action. Keeps his feet moving on contact, uses his hands to protect himself, and chases the action hard. Shows good awareness and the ability to immediately alter his angle of attack.
Negative: Undersized. Too often handled at the point of attack by a single blocker or easily disrupted on his way to the play. Possesses average pursuit speed and limited skill rushing the quarterback.
Analysis: Seumalo is a limited prospect who does not possess much upside but will be given consideration as a 3-technique tackle based on his movement skills and ability to play with leverage.
