Bio: Senior totals included a team-leading 82 tackles as well as 3 pass break-ups when he moved into the starting lineup on a full-time basis. Played in just four games as a junior before being sidelined with a wrist injury. Experienced kick returner in college.
Positive: Physical cornerback who is best facing the action. Has a nice feel for coverage and plays with an aggressive streak. Keeps the action front of him, tracks the pass in the air, and has a nice break to the ball. Works hard to defend passes, sells out on the blitz, and aggressively defends the run.
Negative: Does not have a great deep burst and gets beat on occasions. Struggles making plays with his back to the ball.
Analysis: After struggling with inconsistency and injury early in his Minnesota career, Stoudermire watched his game take off last season. He possesses the cover skills to be used as a dime back in a zone system, and his return skills are added value.
