Ryan Lacy

School: Utah
Position: CB
Bio: Two-year starter who finished with 22 tackles/2 interceptions/5 pass breakups as a senior after 51/2/10 as a junior.
Positive: Underrated cornerback best facing the action. Physical, mixes it up with receivers throughout the route or quickly makes his way up the field to defend the run. Quick flipping his hips off the line, effectively times his pass defenses, and shows a good burst to the action. Strong and out muscles receivers to defend throws. Brings running backs down at the point of attack.
Negative: Loses focus and blows assignments on occasion. Gets turned, struggles making plays with his back to the ball, and slow locating the pass.
Analysis: Struggling with a hamstring injury last season, Lacy was unable to elevate his game the way scouts had hoped but still offers solid potential for the next level. He's a zone cornerback who should also be effective on special teams.
