Dee Milliner

School: Alabama
Position: CB
Bio: All-America and all-Conference choice last season after totaling 54 tackles/2 interceptions/20 pass break-ups. Started six games as a sophomore in 2011 finishing the year with 27/3/9. Broke into the starting lineup as a true freshman and posted 55/1/7 in 11 starts.
Positive: Physically impressive cornerback with big upside. Athletic, fast, and very explosive. Quickly comes up the field to defend the run, squaring into ballcarriers then wrapping up. Fluid turning his hips to transition with opponents off the line. Has a burst to the ball out of his plant and makes a lot of athletic plays. Mixes it up with opponents throughout the route, displays terrific cover skills, and possesses the speed necessary to make up for errors.
Negative: Indecisive, which occasionally gets him into trouble. Tends to peek for the ball and loses his receiver. Mistimes pass defenses.
Analysis: Milliner is a physically gifted prospect who improved last season then turned in an exceptional performance at the combine. He possesses the skills necessary to quickly start at the next level and comes with Pro Bowl potential, but must polish his game and consistently play smart football.
