Chance Casey

School: Baylor
Position: CB
Bio: Starter since his freshman season. Finished with 80 tackles and broke up five passes as a senior. Junior totals included 40 tackles with six passes broken up.
Positive: Aggressive run-defending cornerback with next level measurables. Remains disciplined with assignments, follows receivers across the field, and shows a nice move to the throw. Works to get off blocks, quick up the field, and defends the run or screen passes. Fluid pedaling in reverse and works to keep the action in front of him.
Negative: Can be indecisive. Consistently late to the action. Loses ground transitioning back to locate the pass in the air.
Analysis: Casey is a fine athlete who flashed skill on the field, but he never truly developed into a complete player. He offers potential in zone packages at the next level and is worth considering for a practice squad.
