A.J. Bouye

School: Central Florida
Position: CB
Bio: Two-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a senior after posting 53 tackles/3 interceptions/5 pass break-ups. Played in just seven games as a junior before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
Positive: Big, skilled cornerback with a nice degree of upside. Quick flipping his hips in transition, runs downfield with opponents and has a nice burst to the action. Shows a nice move to the ball, fights hard to defend throws, and is very effective facing the action.
Negative: Lacks a quick and fluid backpedal and prefers to side shuffle down the field. Struggles getting off blocks to defend the run.
Analysis: Bouye possesses next level size/speed numbers and has shown enough skill to get consideration for a practice squad. He was slow getting back to form last season after suffering a knee injury the prior year and must quickly produce this summer to get out of camp.
