T.J. Johnson

School: South Carolina
Position: C
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-Conference honors as a senior. Also spent time with the first team at guard as a freshman.
Positive: Nimble, zone-blocking prospect who plays with terrific quickness and agility. Keeps his head on a swivel, plays intelligent football and works well with teammates. Fires into blocks, stays square, and plays with good lean. Keeps his feet moving in pass protection and anchors at the point. Terrific with the shotgun snap. Immediately gets out to the second level, engages linebackers, and seals them from the action.
Negative: Lacks the dominant base and doesn E(TM)t get much movement in run blocking. Average athleticism.
Analysis: Johnson was productive and durable on the college level and displayed the versatility to be used at several positions on the offensive line. He possesses limited upside but can be an invaluable backup at the next level as a team's seventh offensive lineman.
