Wes Kemp

School: Missouri
Position: WR
Bio: Three-year starter who totaled 29 receptions/369 yards/5 TDs as a senior and 39/420/3 as a junior.
Positive: Marginally productive college receiver with outstanding size/speed numbers. Fluid releasing off the line, comes back to the ball out of breaks and consistently extends to make the reception away from his body. Displays solid eye/hand coordination and makes the difficult catch over the middle of the field. Has good size and offers the quarterback a nice target. Effective blocking downfield.
Negative: Lacks naturally soft hands. Minimal burst and displays little downfield speed.
Analysis: Kemp passes the eyeball test but never met expectations on the field. He offers a good degree of upside and should get consideration for a practice squad based on his measurables. However, he must elevate every aspect of his game to have an NFL career.
