Taylor Embree

School: UCLA
Position: WR
Bio: Senior totals included 20 receptions/228 yards/2 TDs when he started one game. Full-time starter the prior three seasons, caching 32 passes for 409 receiving yards as a junior after posting sophomore totals of 45/608/2.
Positive: Inconsistent receiver with a streaky game. Easily makes the reception running laterally, extends his hands to offer the quarterback a target and adjusts to grab the errant throw. Displays sharpness in and out of breaks. Gets vertical over defenders and uses his frame to shield away opponents.
Negative: Does not play with a sense of urgency. Unnecessarily lets the pass get inside at times and drops some catchable throws. Lacks a second gear and burst.
Analysis: Embree was a productive out of the gate for UCLA yet watched his game fall off the past two years. He previously displayed the skills necessary to play at the next level and must quickly produce in camp this summer to have any chance of making a practice squad.
