Royce Pollard

School: Hawaii
Position: WR
Bio: Two-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior with career-best totals of 71 receptions/1011 yards/8 TDs. Junior numbers included 64/901/7.
Positive: Reliable college pass catcher with marginal size/speed numbers for the next level. Displays terrific focus, consistently extends his hands and makes the reception away from his frame. Displays strong hands with the ability to snatch the pass from the air. Comes back to the ball out of breaks, adjusts the errant throw and makes the difficult catch with defenders draped on him.
Negative: One-speed receiver who lacks deep speed. Will struggle handling jams at the next level and battling NFL cornerbacks.
Analysis: Pollard watched his game take off the past two seasons yet lacks the measurables to play in the NFL. He has a slight chance to catch on as a fifth receiver in a West Coast or timing offense.
