Kelvin Bolden

School: Southern Mississippi
Position: WR
Bio: Junior college transfer who posted career-best numbers of 58 receptions/671 yards/7 TDs as a senior after he had 41/667/6 in 2010, his first season at Southern Mississippi.
Positive: Explosive receiver who has opponents playing back on their heels. Fast, plays to his 40 time and displays the ability to stretch the field. Nicely adjusts to the errant throw, gets down to scoop up the low pass and possesses good eye/hand coordination. Displays strong hands and has the ability to pull the fastball from the air. Nicely adjusts to the errant throw, makes the reception in stride and shows skill running after the catch. Consistently extends to make the reception away from his frame.
Negative: Finishes plays by running out of bounds. Must give better effort blocking. Not a sturdy receiver.
Analysis: Bolden was consistent and productive for Southern Mississippi the two years he played with the program. He shows big play skills and could be an effective fifth receiver at the next level, lining up in the slot.
