Jordan White

School: Western Michigan
Position: WR
Bio: Sixth-year senior who has been an all-conference selection the past two years. Named an All-American last year with receiving totals of 127 receptions/1646 yards/16 TDs. Junior numbers included 94/1378/10 after he had 53/681/4 as a sophomore. Missed the 2006 and 2008 seasons with separate knee injuries.
Positive: Natural, consistent receiver who is the go-to guy opponents cannot stop. Smooth getting into routes, nicely adjusts to the errant throw and looks the pass into his hands. Makes the reception in stride, keeps the play inbounds and works hard to pick up positive yardage running after the reception. Comes back to the ball out of breaks and consistently finds the open space in the defense. Plays with terrific balance and body control and possesses outstanding eye/hand coordination. Goes up in a crowd or double coverage to come away with the ball. Takes the big hit yet holds onto the throw. Uses his frame to protect the ball. Fights hard to make catches and effectively uses his hands to get separation from opponents. Displays both soft and strong hands with the ability to pull the fastball from the air.
Negative: One-speed receiver who lacks the second gear. Has a history of knee injuries, which must be checked.
Analysis: White was incredibly productive at Western Michigan and is a fluid and graceful receiver with next-level pass catching skills. His focus, concentration and dependability rate amongst the best of any receiver in this draft. However, White lacks great foot speed and has an injury history. He will be productive as a third or fourth receiver at the next level if he remains healthy.
