Jerrell Jackson

School: Missouri
Position: WR
Bio: Part-time starter the past three seasons. Senior totals included 17 receptions/222 yards/1 TD after a career-best 50/656/3 as a junior.
Positive: Athletic receiver coming off a disappointing senior campaign. Fluid wideout who easily adjusts to the errant throw and extends to make the reception away from his body. Sells pass routes, displays good quickness and finds the open spot in the defense. Uses his hands to separate from defenders, displays solid eye/hand coordination. Works to stay inbounds and pick up positive yardage running after the catch. Gets vertical and fights to make the reception.
Negative: Lacks the second gear and cannot run to the deep throw. Not a sharp route runner E" he floats exiting breaks. Dropped some very catchable throws on occasion.
Analysis: Jackson possesses the size and speed to flourish as a third receiver at the next level. He's a developmental prospect who must elevate every area of his game to make a roster at the next level.
