Chris Summers

School: Liberty
Position: WR
Bio: Three-year starter awarded all-conference honors the past three years. Senior totals included 64 receptions/1014 yards/7 TDs after he had 76/1081/15 the prior year.
Positive: Big receiver who displays the ability to beat down defenders and make the reception. Comes back to the ball out of breaks, nicely adjusts to the errant throw and makes the reception in stride. Uses his large frame to shield away defenders. Plays with excellent balance and body control. Shows good focus and concentration. Extends his hands and offers the quarterback a nice target. Consistently catches the ball with his hands.
Negative: Lacks a quick release off the line into pass routes. Displays limited speed in his game. Does not show a lot of toughness or always play to his size.
Analysis: Summers was very productive on the college level and offers the physical skills and football ability to make it as a fourth receiver if he's willing to take his game to the next level.
