Brad Starks

School: West Virginia
Position: WR
Bio: Three-year starter who totaled 14 receptions/174 yards/4 TDs as a senior in eight games before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Junior totals included 19/317/4 after 29/405/2 as a sophomore.
Positive: Adequately sized receiver who displays good athleticism on the field. Displays a burst of speed, gets vertical over opponents and wins out for the high throw. Extends his hands to make the catch away from his frame. Works the underneath routes. Experienced as a kick returner.
Negative: Tends to drop some catchable throws on occasion. Fell out of favor with West Virginia coaches as a senior and spent a lot of time on the bench.
Analysis: Starks is a prospect who has shown skill throughout his college career but never really elevated his game. He offers possibilities as a fifth receiver on an NFL roster if his knee is healthy and he's able to produce in camp this summer.
