Ryan Deehan

School: Colorado
Position: TE
Bio: Two-year starter who posted 24 receptions/322 yards/1 TDs as a senior after 25/249/1 the prior year.
Positive: Solid pass catching tight end best in underneath coverage. Fluid releasing off the line into pass routes, immediately gets to top speed and makes the tough catch in a crowd. Displays solid eye/hand coordination and consistently makes the reception away from his frame with his hands. Stays square as a blocker, plays with good knee bend and jolts defenders at the point of attack.
Negative: One-speed tight end who's not a downfield threat. Average strength at the point of attack and cannot finish blocks.
Analysis: Deehan is a solid athlete who easily moves about the field. He could make it as a third tight end in a system that puts him in motion before the snap.
