Dustin Waldron

School: Portland State
Position: T
Bio: Three year starter at left tackle awarded all-conference honors as a senior.
Positive: Nice sized offensive tackle with a well rounded game. Sets with a wide base, works to bend his knees and stays square. Plays with a nasty attitude and works hard to finish off opponents. Patient in pass protection, displays outstanding blocking vision and possesses better than average footwork sliding out off the edge. Quick out to the second level with the ability to adjust to linebackers and effectively block in motion. Better than average lateral blocking range. Strong and gets movement run blocking.
Negative: Not a natural knee bender. Shows stiffness in his game. Must do a better job correctly placing his hands into defenders.
Analysis: Waldron is a solid a small school lineman that's displayed steady progress in his game the past three years. He's a nice combination of athleticism, size as well as growth potential and is a solid developmental prospect that could surprise two years down the road.
