Andrew McDonald

School: Indiana
Position: T
Bio: Two-year starter at left tackle. Also saw action with the first team at guard as a redshirt freshman.
Positive: Versatile and athletic college lineman who's underrated in the scouting community. Moves well around the field. Displays good footwork in pass protection and lateral blocking range out off the edge. Sets with a wide base, quickly gets into blocks and keeps his feet moving. Gets movement run blocking. Quick and explosive in all his actions. Makes good use of angles and can adjust to pick up blitzes.
Negative: Does not block with good body control or balance and is haphazard in his movements. Tends to fall off blocks.
Analysis: McDonald possesses the size, growth potential and movement skills to play at the next level. He's a developing lineman who should be kept on a practice squad as he continues to complete his game.
