Jordan Bernstine

School: Iowa
Position: S
Bio: Moved into the starting lineup as a senior and finished the season with 83 tackles while also breaking up two passes. Recorded four tackles as a junior.
Positive: Tough, explosive defensive back with a developing game. Remains disciplined with assignments, stays with coverage responsibilities over the middle of the field and plays stay at home football. Possesses a good head for the ball, takes good angles to the action and a solid run defender that quickly moves up the field and attacks ball carriers. Explosive at the point and drives through tackles. Displays a burst of straight line speed.
Negative: Lacks top range and not fast moving outside the numbers. Shows stiffness in his game. Hesitant locating the pass in the air.
Analysis: Bernstine followed up a terrific senior season with an outstanding pro day workout. He's a developmental prospect that would do well in a zone system and Bernstine should be an asset on special teams.
