Bio: All-conference selection as a senior after moving into the starting lineup and posting 250 attempts/1556 yards/21 TDs and adding six receptions. Junior totals included 46/295/2.
Positive: Big-bodied ball carrier whose game is on the upswing. Runs with good lean, shows terrific power and picks up a lot yardage off initial contact. Uses an effective straight arm to keep plays alive, is tough to bring down and moves the pile. Has a fluid and smooth style, displaying the ability to cut back in a small area. Light on his feet for such a large running back.
Negative: Does not attack blocking assignments and lacks intensity. At times plays a bit soft. Loses momentum when he must immediately change direction.
Analysis: After coming off the bench during his early years at Baylor, Ganaway showed himself to be a feature runner last season. He needs to play at consistently high level yet offers possibilities in a ball control offense at the next level.
