Brandon Bolden

School: Mississippi
Position: RB
Bio: Started four games as a senior, finishing with 96 attempts/462 yards/4 touchdowns on the ground while adding 14 receptions/147 yards/1 touchdown as a receiver. Junior totals included a team-leading 163/976/14 on the ground with 32/34/3 as a receiver. Started eight games as a sophomore and posted 129/614/4 rushing.
Positive: Explosive ballcarrier with outstanding size/speed numbers. Patient, quick-footed and avoids piles or makes several defenders miss over the course of a single run. Elusiv, creates his own yardage and finds the cutback lanes, then quickly gets through them. Terrific pass catcher who displays himself as a downfield threat.
Negative: Does not run like a 220-pound back, rarely breaks tackles or picks up tough yardage. Shows hesitation in his running. Lacks top skills trying to turn the corner.
Analysis: Bolden was a college ballcarrier who ran hot and cold. He possesses the underlying physical skills to be a big-time talent, but must really put together a complete game rather than just playing in spurts.
