Ken Adams

School: LSU
Position: OLB
Bio: Junior college transfer who's started the past two seasons, totaling 21 tackles/6.5 tackles for loss/2.5 sacks as a senior and 27/2.5/1.5 as a junior.
Positive: Quick, relatively athletic defensive prospect who needs to improve his overall game. Displays outstanding movement skills, is fast off the edge and rarely off his feet. Changes direction quickly and fluidly, is forceful up the field and displays the ability to pursue the action from the back side. Slices through double-team blocks, plays with good pad level and effectively uses his hands to protect himself.
Negative: Possesses poor instincts. Chases around the field but does not make many tackles. Slow to react.
Analysis: Adams possesses linebacker size but defensive lineman speed. He flashes athleticism and the ability to be a disruptive force, but does not do it on a consistent basis. Offers possibilities as a situational pass rusher if he can make his mark on special teams.
